Week 1: Lost Hiking

We hiked Mount Dobong on the third day of the orientation. I got lost and the rest of the group got split up. Here is a shot of me with my hiking hat before I got lost.

Here is where we stopped to eat lunch. As I was picking up my things to continue the hike, I suddenly realized that my group had already left.


I came to this bar to wait for my friends. This nice man offered me soju and squid and was curious to know why I was hanging out all alone.

The infamous Korean dish called "beondeggi." For less than a buck, you can get a cupful of these silkworm larvae.
